POSITION:          Office Automation Specialist
DEPARTMENT:  TechExperts
STATUS:             Exempt

Overview:

The position of Office Automation Specialist (OA Specialist) is an entry level position and is a key step for advancement within the organization. This position is responsible for daily onsite support with KeyTech's most important customers.

Basic responsibilities include:

  • Provides PC, laptop, & printer hardware support.
  • Troubleshoots and supports hand-held devices and their connectivity (i.e., Blackberry, Treo, Windows Mobile Pocket PC's/cellular phones).
  • Provides installation and desktop support for desktop operating systems (Microsoft XP, Windows VISTA) and Office Productivity Suites (MS Office).
  • Provides desktop support for email client software (MS Outlook, Novell Groupwise, Lotus Notes Client).
  • Installs and supports standard desktop Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • One to two year of IT experience.
  • A solid understanding of relevant technologies, solutions, troubleshooting, & support.

Recommended Certifications:

KeyTech recommends and strongly encourages employees to maintain industry certifications.  The employee filling the OA Specialist position at KeyTech should have (or will be required to obtain) the following certifications:

        A+;   MCDST
