KeyTech and Neverfail Partner to Deliver High Availability Solutions

Neverfail software becomes key component in KeyTech’s Disaster Recovery and Continuous Uptime Services

Alexandria, VA—May, 2005—KeyTech Services and Neverfail announced a partnership to sell and support Neverfail’s high availability solutions as part of KeyTech’s disaster recovery services. The partnership will provide Neverfail’s cluster-class high availability, data protection and disaster recovery technology for Microsoft Exchange, SQL and File Server, IIS and SharePoint to support KeyTech clients.

KeyTech’s provides hosted replication and support services for the Microsoft technology platform using off-site hosting to ensure the continuous uptime of network applications for connected users. “Neverfail software will change the way companies think about downtime,” stated Carl R. KeyTech’s disaster recovery and continuing operations services use primary and secondary servers that are always completely synchronized. Neverfail software assures that any update that happens on one server also happens on the other. Unlike a traditional clustering environment, these servers do not need to be completely identical. With KeyTech’s implementation, secondary servers are located off-site at a secure hosting center. This provides comprehensive monitoring of the primary server environment, which will automatically undertaking pre-emptive actions to address problems as they arise. Switching over to a secondary server occurs only if absolutely required, and failback is automatic when the problem is resolved.
