Message Reinforces the Importance of Education in the Technology Field
Alexandria, VA—January, 2008
KeyTech Services, a leading IT support firm with a core competency in data protection, archiving, and business continuity solutions, announced its support for the George Washington University Communications group with a message that reminds students of the importance of education in the Information Technology field.
"We're pleased that companies like KeyTech care enough to support community reminders and WRGW. It shows a commitment to education and the community", stated Hannah Byam, General Manager of WRGW.
The company has signed an agreement to sponsor the following radio message during the month of January and Feburary, a critical time for many students as they return from winter break:
“Our friends at KeyTech Services would like to take this special time out and remind the young people in our community to stay in school, get your education, and graduate. The technology in every job field gets more sophisticated each year and getting a good job means learning every day. If you’ve dropped out of school, now is the time to return, or find out about the many programs that are available through adult education, technical schools and other community programs. Remember, education is the gateway to a better life and only you hold the key! This special community reminder was brought to you as a courtesy by KeyTech Services. For more information on career opportunities, you can visit them online at www.keytechservices.com. Concerned with the future of the youth in our community. They’re on the air because they care.”
KeyTech chose this message because we have experienced the difficulty in finding educated IT Resources in the Washington DC area and we understand the value education provides our community.
“GWRadio is an excellent medium to target these resources. George Washington University Graduates will play an important part in the future of our industry,” commented David Burnett, Business Development Manager.
KeyTech plans to hire a significant number of Computer Science graduates in 2008.
